February is recognized as Black History Month, but that recognition comes with a fundamental flaw. Black history and contributions cannot be confined to a single month, as they are far too significant. To be born Black yet reduced to a month is a disrespect we should not overlook, as our influence and presence have been stamped throughout time. Black is not a month; Black is history.
